testo 270 BT cooking oil tester
The testo 270 BT tells you when frying oil needs changing by measuring its total polar materials (TPM) and temperature directly in the hot oil. This avoids discarding oil that is still usable while safeguarding the quality of fried food.
The display lights up green, orange or red according to the TPM limits you set, so any kitchen staff member can read the result instantly. It can be used on its own or with the testo Smart App, which guides the measurement, stores results and generates PDF or CSV reports with signature and comments for HACCP self-checks or inspections.
It is IP65 waterproof and users can calibrate and adjust it with testo reference oil and the App program. testo states compliance with HACCP International and NSF.
