AKOCORE ADVANCE AKO-16525A advanced controller

The AKOCORE ADVANCE AKO-16525A is AKO’s most complete wall-mounted controller for cold rooms. It regulates with the patented SELF-DRIVE© algorithm using only two probes: it analyses the refrigerant state in the evaporator, detects ice build-up, calculates the heat transfer between room and evaporator and monitors door openings. With this information it only performs the defrosts that are really needed and uses the thermal inertia of the evaporator with the fans, so the compressor starts fewer times. AKO states energy savings of up to 35% in the cold room consumption.

Versions and references

Local and remote connectivity

With the CAMM module and the mobile app, parameters can be copied from the phone and the room history can be checked: door-open time, minimum, average and maximum temperature per probe, time within set point, compressor operation, defrosts and alarms. Connected to AKONET.Cloud it offers remote alarms, automatic reports, remote configuration and real-time access to the display and keypad.
