Pressure relief valve Maxielebar BT: maxielebar pressure relief valve for cold rooms, BT version.

Cold room walls are subject to pressure differences between inside and outside: when evaporator defrosting starts, when a lot of goods are loaded, with long door openings or with changes in atmospheric pressure. A pressure relief valve lets air pass in both directions and prevents that stress on panels and doors. Elebar valves act gradually through the oscillation of their membranes, driven by overpressure or vacuum, and are made entirely of nylon. To choose the model and number of valves, the required air flow is calculated with Q = (1000 / 273) × V × Dt (V: room volume in m³; Dt: maximum temperature change in 1 minute, in °C) and compared with each model’s flow for the permissible pressure difference (Dp, in mm of water column).
