testo 616 non-destructive moisture meter
The testo 616 measures moisture in wood and building materials non-destructively: simply place the instrument on the surface and the capacitive sensor measures up to 5 cm deep, with no electrodes and no marks.
It is very useful for checking finished materials, floors, walls and stored timber, and for quickly locating damp areas.
