testo 770 clamp meter and power clamp
The testo 770 family is designed for tight measuring points: the jaw retracts fully into the housing, so a single conductor can be gripped even when it sits right next to others, as is common in distribution and machine control cabinets.
All three versions measure True RMS and automatically recognise AC or DC and the parameter being measured (voltage, resistance, continuity, diodes or capacitance), which reduces handling errors. They also include an inrush current function for electric motors.
The testo 770-2 adds the microamp range for checking burner ionisation current and temperature measurement with the supplied type K thermocouple adapter. The testo 770-3 extends the range to 1,000 V and 600 A, measures active, apparent and reactive power and sends readings via Bluetooth to the testo Smart App.
