testo 862 pocket thermal imager
The testo 862 is a compact thermal imager designed to be carried at all times for quick checks on systems, electrical panels and buildings. It is operated much like a smartphone and measures from -10 to +550 °C.
Two resolutions are available: testo 862-1 with 160 x 120 pixels and testo 862-2 with 256 x 192 pixels, both with sensitivity below 50 mK. Fusion mode overlays the 2 MP real image to identify each spot more easily.
It offers hot and cold spot detection, automatic Delta T, a DeltaHeat function for radiators, alarms and smart mould analysis. Via Bluetooth it receives readings from the testo 605i thermohygrometer and the testo 770-3 clamp meter to document each inspection. testo states that testo Smart App support will follow in 2027 via a free update; the testo IRSoft PC software is free.
