AKOCORE ADVANCE AKO-16526A with electronic expansion
The AKOCORE ADVANCE AKO-16526A combines cold room control and electronic expansion valve (EEV) control in one unit. In addition to PID superheat regulation, it features SELF-DRIVE© mode, which manages the fans autonomously and minimises defrosts according to the real state of the evaporator. AKO states reductions of up to 35% in the service power consumption.
Main features
- Control of electronic expansion valves by pulses (PWM) or stepper (with external driver via 0-10 V / 4-20 mA output)
- Accepts most pressure transducers: 4-20 mA, 0-5 V, 0.5-4.5 V, 0-10 V and 1-5 V
- Ultra-fast superheat probe and dedicated PID algorithm to keep superheat at its optimum
- More stable suction pressure and temperature: less compressor work and lower consumption
- SELF-DRIVE© mode: autonomous fan management and adaptive defrosts
- Detects refrigerant state and ice build-up; prevents evaporator blocking
- Dual display: temperature and EEV opening, superheat or low pressure
- 6 voltage-free relays, door and drain heater control
- 7-step guided start-up
- Remote connectivity with AKONET.Cloud (via AKONET.Edge): alarms, reports, remote display and keypad
