The Plus series includes improvements to the compressor design (higher-efficiency winding, optimised lubrication, greater tolerance of operating conditions outside the nominal range) that result in a better EER (Energy Efficiency Ratio) and greater reliability in demanding conditions. For standard installations under normal conditions, the standard scroll series is technically sufficient; the Plus series is recommended for continuous 24/7 installations, high ambient temperatures, or where any unplanned stoppage has a high operating cost.
