What a label rewinder is used for
A label printer pushes out the printed web and, if nobody catches it, it ends up on the floor, creased or stuck to itself. The rewinder runs in step with the printer and winds the web as it comes out, so that at the end of the job you have a tidy roll ready to apply instead of a pile of loose labels.
- Back rooms and food processing: runs of batch and date labels.
- Warehousing and logistics: bulk labelling of cases and pallets.
- Retail: printing rolls of price or product-code labels.
- Labelling rooms: preparing rolls for applicators.
- Any desktop printer station: unattended printing.

How many labels fit on a roll
It is the question that always comes up when ordering consumables, and it comes down to three figures: the outer diameter of the roll, the core diameter, and the label pitch (label height plus the gap between labels). The bigger the core, the less liner fits inside the same outer diameter: a roll on a 3″ core yields noticeably fewer labels than one on a 1″ core of the same outside size. With 200 mm of usable diameter and adapters for all three common cores, the T10 covers practically any standard roll combination.
The winding direction selector settles the other detail people overlook: whether the labels end up wound face out or face in. That direction has to match what the applicator or dispenser using the roll expects, otherwise the roll has to be rewound a second time.

Frequently asked questions
T10 or T20?
The T10 takes labels up to 120 mm wide and rolls up to 200 mm in diameter; the T20 goes to 177 mm wide but only 150 mm of roll diameter. The choice depends on what matters in your work: wide labels, or long runs on big rolls.
Will it work with any label printer?
It works with desktop printers whose label width does not exceed 120 mm. If you are unsure about your model, tell us which one it is and we will confirm compatibility before you order.
What is the winding direction selector for?
To choose whether the label ends up wound face in or face out. That is what determines whether the finished roll can be fitted straight onto the applicator or dispenser without having to be rewound again.
Which core do I need?
The one your original roll uses, or the one accepted by the machine you will mount it on afterwards. The T10 includes an adapter for all three common diameters — 1″, 1.5″ and 3″ — so it does not force you to change consumable.
Is 300 mm/s fast enough?
It is faster than the print speed of most desktop label printers, so the rewinder is not the bottleneck: it keeps pace with the printer without putting tension on the liner.
