What laminated carbon steel brings

Are 1705 and 1710 interchangeable?
No. Five millimetres sounds like nothing, but the tensioning mechanism has limited travel and is calculated for one specific length. With the wrong size it either will not close or cannot be tensioned properly.

Why does the band steel rust?
