Sliding cell mounting, and the repair it avoids

The TP410 INOX mounts its cells on a sliding system that absorbs those blows instead of transmitting them. Why choose a stainless pallet truck scale?

What does IP67 on the cells actually mean?

Dust tight, and able to withstand temporary immersion in water. The load cells are the most delicate and most expensive part of a weighing truck, and in wet environments they are the first component to fail. IP67 is precisely what prevents that early failure.

What is the HOLD function for?

It freezes the reading on the display when the load is swinging. Lifting a badly stacked pallet or a drum of liquid, the weight takes time to settle; with HOLD the indicator holds the value so the operator can note it without waiting.

Can I use it to invoice by weight?

Only with the optional EC verification., and stays subject to periodic reverification by an authorised body and to a further verification after repair or broken seals. For internal control, receipts and stock, the standard truck is enough.

Can I add up several pallets?

Yes. The BR90 indicator has manual accumulation, which adds successive weighings to give the total for a consignment of several pallets. It also has a limits function, useful for spotting pallets outside the expected weight.

How does it differ from the TP410 with printer?

This one is stainless with IP67 cells and no printer, built for wet environments. The printer version is stove-enamelled steel, suitable for legal metrology, with IP65 cells, a built-in inclinometer and an on-board ticket printer for issuing the weight at the dock.
