Description

The TMN scale is a robust platform with BR16 digital indicator covering a wide range: from 30 to 300 kg capacity, with high-precision graduations from 5 g to 50 g and pans from 350 x 450 mm up to 1200 x 750 mm. Tubular structure in painted or stainless steel, IP54 or IP65 protection depending on model and up to 320 hours of battery life.

What it is for

It is a scale you configure rather than buy as a closed unit: you choose the capacity, graduation, pan size and finish according to the actual work. The adjustable feet with shock absorbers and the high-speed converter, with up to ten readings per second, complete a unit designed to weigh a lot, fast.

Functions: piece counting, zeroing, four hold modes (off, moving animal, peak value, stable and stable with auto-cancel to zero), weight and piece control by limits with visual signal and alarm, three converter speeds, gross/net, tare and totalising. Accumulation and configurable gravity are available outside legal metrology mode.

Approval and metrological verification

The TMN data sheet distinguishes functions that operate only outside legal metrology, such as accumulation and gravity adjustment. This distinction is typical of equipment that can work in both modes: in regulated use, the rules require each weighing to be individual and verifiable, without sums or internal adjustments that a third party cannot check.

When the weight determines the amount of a commercial transaction, the Spanish Metrology Law 32/2014 and Royal Decree 244/2016 require an approved instrument, verified before being put into service and subject to periodic verification every two years by an authorised Control Body. Frequently asked questions

What capacity and graduation suit me?

The practical rule is to choose the lowest capacity that comfortably covers your usual load, because the lower the capacity, the finer the graduation. With 30 kg you can get down to 5 g; with 300 kg, the graduation goes up to 50 g. Tell us what you weigh every day and we will propose the combination.

What are the feet with shock absorbers for?

To absorb vibrations and small knocks that would otherwise be transmitted to the load cell and make the reading jump. In a building with machinery running or a bakery with mixers, that damping is what allows the weight to stabilise quickly.

What does a converter with 10 readings per second offer?

Speed of response. The converter translates the load cell signal into a number; the more readings per second, the sooner the value on the display stabilises. In long series of weighings, saving a second per operation adds up by the end of the day.

What is the difference between IP54 and IP65?

IP54 protects against dust and splashes, sufficient for dry areas. IP65 adds dust-tightness and resistance to low-pressure water jets, which is what a room that is scrubbed daily requires. The TMN is offered in both ratings depending on the model.

Painted or stainless steel?

Painted steel is enough in warehouses, workshops and dry areas, and is more economical. Stainless steel is the right choice for cutting rooms, bakeries and anywhere with wet cleaning and detergents, because it does not rust or lose its finish with use.

How long does the battery last?

Up to 320 hours with the backlight off, according to the manufacturer’s data sheet. It is a long battery life, designed for scales that work far from a power socket or are moved between points in the facility during the week.
